I’m a firm believer that a Gap shirt will perform just as well as a Polo shirt at half the price. Same deal with these mics. I wouldn’t sell them if I didn’t believe you’d be happy with them. The microphones on this page will stand up to any mic costing three times as much. I sold my “name brand” mics and replaced them with these on the drums, guitar amps and over heads. Sound at FOH is as good or better.
SUPERLUX PRA-628 MKII Guitar Cab / Instrument Mic $69 DELIVERED
The Superlux PRA-628 MKll is an optimized version of the original
PRA-628. It has an extended frequency response (on the high end from 16000 to18000 Hz)
with a higher
SPL capacity (144db is now 150db) and higher gain before feed back
making it more of a Swiss army knife of mics. Perfect for guitar
cabinets and amps, also great on toms and I like it on horns as well.
Basically, replace your SM57s and your e609's with this mic and you'll
dig it.
The PRA-628 MKll comes
with a clamp on mic clip (always handy for something but I just lay
these over the top of the amp to avoid using a stand). You could use
this mic on drums (snare), trumpet as well as guitar. It will handle real high SPL and has high gain before feed back.

Superlux PRA628 MKII
PRA628 MKII
This is the original PRA628. The new version has the same sound just a wider freq response and more SPL handling (which isn't really the focus of this video).
Apex 326 Rim Mounted Dynamic Snare / Tom I was looking for alternatives to the Sennheiser e604. Seems like they get more and more pricey every year. Came across this bad boy. It's a solid well built mic that will give the 604 a run for it's money. My contact info for questions is mike@freqcitysound.com and cell 513-375-3302. There's another fairly priced mic to check out that works well for snare called the Superlux PRA628. Look at my other auctions to check it out.

Hey Man, I tested out the Apex 326 Drum mic you are selling on Ebay that I bought from you. I used it from Indie rock shows to Hardcore Metal shows last week and over the weekend. It works AWESOME, the sound quality is excellent. I used it on high and low toms with great results thru my A&H GL2400 console. I'll be ordering more shortly. Thanks Brandon D.
Mike, Glad we took you up on the offer. We used the mic as a snare/hat mic. Had Shure beta 98s around the rest of the kit, Audix D6 in the kick. Darned thing sounded great. I would have never believed a mic that costs this little could sound that good. Just placed my order for another 6. Thanks for turning me on to these. Rocky Corlione Sound Guy Cincinnati

The PRO258 microphone with flat grille is designed for
professional vocal and instrument live sound applications. This dynamic supercardioid
